While vacationing on Cape Cod this past week, my husband and I had fun visiting the thrift shops. Here are some of my thrifty finds.
I found this set of luncheon plates and cups. There were four plates with four cups, and I paid $8.00 for them. The pattern is Herbs & Spices by Shafford. Replacements, Ltd. didn't have these sets, but the dinner plate in the same pattern is listed for $9.99. These are so cute and will be perfect to serve muffins and coffee.
I found this pretty English china set for $10.00. The stamp on the back reads "J & G Meakin English Shaffordshire Goldenaire". Some of the dinner plates, cups and the creamer are missing. Replacements, Ltd. lists a price of $9.99 for each cup and saucer set. I'll probably use them as is for breakfast, but it's nice to know it was a good deal. You may see these in an upcoming Tablescape Thursday.
I also found this pretty needlepoint for $3.00. My plan is to make a pillow with it, so keep an eye out for it in an upcoming Met Monday. 
I love Odille skirts! Here's one I found on I had previously admired it on Anthropologie's website some time ago. It is called Brushstroke. It is new and was only $14.50. It was originally $118.00. What a deal!
