We're back in the dining room for this week's tablescape. I started with an ivory tablecloth with textured squares. It's not too fussy, which is perfect for supper. Next, I layered burgundy red hemstitch placemats with gold lattice chargers and our everyday stoneware. The gold chargers really bring out the shiny gold in the plaid napkins. The napkin rings are actually braided ponytail holders I found at the Christmas Tree Shop for $1.00 a package. 
I kept the centerpiece simple by adding fresh mums to a container, along with some faux grape leaves. The votive holders, napkins and placemats came from the Christmas Tree Shop and were featured in a recent Thrifty Treasures post.
What's for supper? Well, the weather is quite cool today, so I thought it would be a good day for some hearty beef stew.

Love your colour combo of burgundy, gold with white dishes...very similar to what I chose for TT! Your centerpiece is simple but effective. Yummy looking stew, perfect for a fall day!

A lovely autumny table, my friend! I love those beautiful plaid dinner napkins and you're absolutely right about them being so perfect with the gold lattace chargers...just beautiful!!! Love your pretty little votive candleholders too...love the ambiance that only candlelight affords!!! I couldn't help but notice your beautiful dining room in the photos...such a beautiful room!!! It is nice to see food on the table. All the beautiful dishes need some food to finish them off. Your walls look very interesting. Are they more yellow or green?

Ah, I haven't made beef stew since last year. Now I have a brand new crock pot and that's one of the first things on my list to cook. Lovely tablescape. Love the idea of the ponytail holders!
