Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings


  • 1-2 lbs. boneless chicken breasts or tenders
  • 1 envelope chicken gravy mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 pkg. Pillsbury biscuits
  • 1 small bag of peeled baby carrots
  • 1 small bag of frozen whole green beans
  • dash of sage
  • dash of garlic powder
  1. Spray crock pot with nonstick spray.
  2. Cut boneless chicken into chunks.
  3. Cut baby carrots into thick slices
  4. Peel onion and cut into small chunks. Mix gravy mix, water, sage and garlic powder together and add to crock pot. Add the chicken, onion, green beans and baby carrots.
  5. Cook on high for 4 hours.
  6. Remove biscuit dough from can. Roll each biscuit into a ball. Add these to the crock pot and recover. Continue cooking on high for an additional hour or so until done.
