Garden Update

It's been about five weeks since we planted our vegetable garden.  You may recall reading my post about critter-proofing the garden.

The above photo shows what it looked like just after planting it.

After five weeks into the growing season, I am happy to report that all of the plants are happy and healthy!

Using good soil and compost has made such a difference.  The plants are huge, and everything is flowering.

The woodchucks and rabbits have not been able to eat the plant flowers.

My husband and I are very excited!  Lord willing, we should be enjoying the fruits of our labor very soon.

Thanks for stopping by!

Your garden looks very orderly and well under control...love the critter proofing. I know it's a lot of work, but soon you'll be harvesting the fruits of your labor and it will have been all worth while. Nice job!

I have never seen anyone do the wire overtop like that, what a good idea. I envy your future harvest!
