Mari Winsor Slimming Pilates Review

I like to incorporate yoga and Pilates into my weekly workout schedule.  I find they really help with my overall flexibility and keep me free of back pain and  injuries.  Since I have been a  big fan of Winsor Pilates videos  over the years, I was excited to hear about Mari Winsor's new Slimming Pilates kit.  This new kit includes eight workouts plus the accelerator and four additional weights for the accelerator bar. 

The accelerator is designed to provide the resistance, range of motion, and muscle sculpting of a Pilates Reformer and Cadillac. It is constructed using  combination of fabric-covered, rubber tubing, cushioned handles, one-pound weights and a stability bar.  It can be configured 7 different ways to use with a variety of different exercises.

The workout DVDs are both challenging and effective.  Superfast Body Blast is a fun, 20-minute workout using the accelerator.  It combines body sculpting moves with easy-to-follow footwork. ABsession is a 20-minute combination of cardio and pilates that really works your core muscles.  Quick Start Pilates for Weight Loss combines two 20-minute workouts for maximum weight loss.  The bonus DVD, Pilates of the Fit & Famous, contains the same workout routines that Mari shares with her celebrity clients. This customizable workout includes four 10-minute workouts:  cardio pilates, total body, lower body and abs.

If you've enjoyed Mari's other pilates videos over the years, you won't be disappointed with this new system.  I've had mine for a little over a week, and I'm really enjoying using it.  And, as with other Winsor Pilates workouts, you will quickly see results.
